Laurel Ag & Water is looking for a self-motivated, exceptional Class A Driver.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Class A Driver, will safely transport pipe, pumps, and other equipment to jobsites, vendors and service departments.
Laurel is looking for a strong hands-on individual with a proven track record of partnering with the organization and team.
This role will report to the Warehouse Manager.
This person will be passionate about understanding our customer's needs and creating solutions that maximize our performance at Laurel.
The Class A Driver is expected to be a team player that lives Laurel's cultural values, sets an example for others, and puts systems in place to constantly enhance the culture.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Safely transport parts, pipe, pumps, equipment etc.
to customers, jobsites, and vendors
Perform job layouts
Build valve assemblies for jobs and stock
Help with loading
Train employees how to load properly
Perform truck & tooling safety inspections required
Manage organization & cleanliness of truck & all tooling
Manage maintenance, lubrication, fluid levels, safety and general upkeep of the rig
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, tools, inventory & supplies daily as to be fully prepared at all times
Pick and pack all new projects!
Pick and pack material on requisitions for In progress projects.
Perform Job layouts from detail packet in Box
Fab layout
Pump layout
Filter layout
Replenish inventory
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Proven ability to work in team environment inside and outside of department
Proven ability to set the tone and build trust throughout the organization
High energy, hungry to win, approachable, patient
Willingness to travel (20-40% depending on location)
Clean CA Class A driver's license
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Dependable and Ability to work independently and be able to act in a self-directed manner without immediate supervision.
Salary Range: $20.
