Hello my name is Cheryl and I am a dedicated and experienced caregiver with over 6 years of combined experience in caregiving, CNA in training, and working in developmental disabilities group homes.
My background includes:
- Assisting residents in assisted living facilities with Alzheimer's and dementia care, including bathing, medication assistance, activities, toileting, and walking.
- Providing comprehensive care in nursing homes, such as bed baths, showers, feedings, grooming, toileting, changing diapers, assisting with transfers from bed to wheelchair or chair using a Hoyer lift, and transfers using sliding boards.
- Supporting clients in developmental disabilities group homes with activities, feeding, toileting, and more.
I have an up-to-date TB test and CPR certification.
I am also in the process of becoming an IHSS caregiver.
