Primary Function
Under general supervision, researches and prepares recommendations to resolve issues, prepares, and updates property ownership records, maps, legal descriptions and related documents; explains departmental procedures to employees and members of the public; finalizes and records various documents regarding district and private properties in conformance with state, county and district rules and regulations; maintains database of records to provide data for internal and external stakeholders, project proponents and developers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, with emphasis in real estate, or business law and two years of directly related experience in preparation of right-of-way deeds, easements and encroachment permits.
Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required.
Licensing & Certification Requirements
A Notary Public Commission or obtain commission within six months from date of hire is required.
A valid driver's license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
An official current driving record (obtained within the last six months) from your local State Department of Motor Vehicles(DMV) or from official DMV website must accompany job application (no third party records accepted).
