Nurse Practitioner

Duties: - Perform comprehensive physical examinations on patients - Diagnose and treat acute and chronic wounds - Apply biologic wound care treatments - Provide counseling and education to patients on wound care and prevention, and management of chronic conditions - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care - Conduct utilization reviews to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources - Use aseptic technique when performing procedures or handling medical equipment Requirements: - Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner - Certification as a Nurse Practitioner - Strong clinical skills and knowledge in Wound Care - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments - Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems This is a challenging yet rewarding role that offers the opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare to patients across the lifespan.
