Job Summary:
The Payroll and Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for compensation management and oversees the timely payment of bills.
This dual role requires a strong attention to detail, a thorough understanding of financial processes, and effective communication skills.

Payroll
Process multi-state, semi-monthly payroll in a timely manner
Address and resolve payroll related inquiries and discrepancies promptly
Collaborate with HR to onboard/offboard team members and update payroll records accordingly
Assists with annual internal audits
Coordinates year-end reporting and oversight of W-2 year-end compensation records
Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance
Accounts Payable
Accurately and efficiently record and track payments which includes, but is not limited to: processing invoices, issuing vendor payments, reviewing payable statements, expense report processing, and resolving payment inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and annual reporting
Cultivate and enhance relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments

Experience
Minimum Experience required: 3+ years of extensive knowledge of the payroll function including payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment
Technical Skills
Proven ability to complete work with accuracy and efficiency
Ability to work on multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant payroll software and PC skills, including Microsoft Windows and Office applications

High level of enthusiasm to work collaboratively in a team environment to meet and exceed expectations for internal and external clients.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work with minimal direction in a high-pressure environment.

The compensation for this position ranges from $41,600 - $52,000.
Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, licensure, and certifications.
