Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings - Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers - Perform triage and prioritize patient needs - Assist with tube feeding and other specialized procedures - Collect and process laboratory specimens - Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth for documentation - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment Skills: - Pediatrics: Experience in providing care to pediatric patients - Triage: Ability to assess and prioritize patient needs based on severity - Tube feeding: Proficiency in administering nutrition through feeding tubes - Laboratory: Knowledge of specimen collection and processing procedures - Athenahealth: Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically Athenahealth - Medication administration: Competence in administering medications accurately and safely - Phlebotomy: Skill in drawing blood samples for diagnostic testing - Acute care: Experience in managing patients with acute medical conditions - Infection control: Understanding of infection prevention protocols to maintain a safe healthcare environment As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in different healthcare facilities, providing care to diverse patient populations.
