Responsibilities: - Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients - Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing - Follow proper aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and prevent contamination - Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to locate veins for blood sampling - Adhere to laboratory procedures and protocols for accurate specimen collection and processing - Provide excellent patient care during the phlebotomy process - Maintain accurate records of patient information for test results - Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients Requirements: - Certification or diploma in phlebotomy or a related field - Proficient in venipuncture and specimen collection techniques - Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen labeling and documentation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals - Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during blood sampling Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.
