As a Behavior Interventionist (BI) you will assist families seeking support with autism and other related developmental disabilities by providing care in-home, at a support center or in the community.
You will work alongside our community of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as you interact directly with your clients during in-home visits to implement established behavioral treatment plans based in the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Implementing treatment plans may involve teaching individuals' adaptive skills, communication skills, self-care skills and social skills to improve their quality of life.

What Our Ideal Partner Looks Like
Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
Nice to have- previous exposure to working individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities; or similar experience (i.
e.
respite, daycare, tutoring, and attendant care services)
Empathy and compassion towards the families we support
Maintains professional demeanor, boundaries, and composure
Demonstrates effective communication, and shows ability to implement existing behavioral plans
Implement outlined plans to achieve desired goals
Ability to connect with clients and families by adapting to their specific needs
Be comfortable working in clients’ homes
Work in both indoor and outdoor settings as they relate to the patient’s natural environment, which may include being outdoors in a variety of weather conditions (e.

, community skills, recess in a school setting, etc.
