00 annuallyDepartment/School Summary: Fresno Pacific University invites applications for a nursing educator and leader to support our service to the community.
Our current programs include an MSN program with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) focus and a baccalaureate BSN program.
The ideal candidate will bring administrative, clinical, and academic experience to support both the MSN-FNP program and development of the university’s baccalaureate BSN program toward an end goal of providing Christ-centered service to the community.

Role: Leadership and administration of all aspects of nursing programsProvides positive leadership, promoting both employee competence, morale, and retentionProvides leadership in supporting program directors in both internal assessment and in meeting external accreditation standardsSupports program directors in communicating with the California BRN as necessary regarding program status and changesRepresents the nursing unit at meetings of accreditation and regulatory bodiesDevelops and maintains information supporting annual budget planningProvides oversight of maintenance of records relevant to nursing programsFacilitates professional development for faculty in teaching preparation, nursing theory and practice, and in faith and liberal arts integrationCurriculumFacilitates textbook selection and ordering across programsServes as ATI liaisonRecommends purchases of supplies and equipment to support the curriculumSupports the nursing lab manager in ensure labs meet standards and are maintained FacultyDevelops faculty load schedules for each academic yearFacilitates conflict resolution effectivelyProvides input on hiring of all nursing facultyOversees (directly or indirectly) orientation and onboarding of all nursing faculty Teaches in the MSN and/or BSN programs as time permitsDevelops and maintains community relationships both with internal and external constituents.
