The Cricket Wireless Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing the operations and performance of a Cricket Wireless retail store.
This role involves assisting with managing a team of sales associates, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining store efficiency.
1.
Team Support and Leadership: Assisting the Store Manager in leading and motivating a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals.
Providing guidance, training, and support to ensure staff members deliver exceptional customer service.
Collaborating with the Store Manager to conduct regular performance evaluations and implement strategies for employee development.

Sales and Customer Service: Supporting the Store Manager in driving sales by monitoring store performance metrics and implementing strategies to increase revenue.
Assisting with ensuring that customers receive outstanding service by resolving any issues or complaints promptly.
Building strong customer relationships to promote customer loyalty and repeat business.

Store Operations: Assisting with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.

The Cricket Wireless Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Store Manager in driving the success of the retail store.
By assisting with team management, sales and customer service, store operations, marketing initiatives, training and development, and reporting and analysis, the Assistant Store Manager contributes to achieving sales targets, maintaining excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient store operations.
*General Duties: *The Store Assistant Manager will assist the Store Manager in the following areas; * Set and achieve sales goals and service performance requirements through new customer sales, sales of accessories and features, and by providing excellent customer satisfaction; * Provide an exceptional customer experience that would result in a quality customer retention rate; * Responsible for local grassroots marketing and prospecting initiatives; * Solicit, coordinate and participate in community events; * Set the tone for store culture and environment to ensure success in all aspects of sales and customer service; * Supervision of sales staff includes but is not limited to; leading by example, mentoring, coaching, scheduling and counseling; * Provide positive reinforcement and training to promote learning and growth of sales associates; * Manage and direct all activities related to the day-to-day bank deposits; * Assure the Cash Safe and Phone/Device Safe are always locked when not in use; * Perform closing duties as part of your store daily checklist (including but not limited to locking all safes, doors, windows and ensuring the alarm system is activated); * Provide resolutions to customer complaints regarding sales and service; * Manage ordering, receiving, and discrepancies; * Complete daily, weekly and month-end counts; * Establish and maintain adherence to budget; * Ensure 100% completion of all required training upon hire, monthly and annually per cricket wireless standards, for self and all staff; * Master Velocity training for personal growth and staff development; * Participate in corrective action for employees per Spacetel LLC Policy and Procedures; * Ensure proper merchandising within store, including product placement, display and brand compliance per Cricket wireless standards; * Understand customers’ needs and help them discover how our non contract products meet those needs; * Possess a competitive spirit and desire to meet and exceed goals objectives assigned; * Multi-task in a fast-paced team environment; * Educate and engage customers through product demonstrations and/or other means trained to do; * Interact with customers and provide prompt and courteous customer service; * Must be able to plan and create informative meetings with staff; * Conduct positive coaching sessions as needed for corrective actions; * Must be able to communicate about daily achievements with store employees; * Must highlight accomplishments of the day with store employees; * Be accountable for team communications by ensuring communications from upper management of the Corporate Office are delivered to all staff in the assigned market area and that they fully understand said communications and are immediately implemented in the storefronts; * Assure all store locations open timely according to store location hours; * Must maintain store in accordance with the safety regulations set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); * Ensure that the store is consistently clean and well-maintained.
Maintenance activities shall include but not be limited to cleaning air vents, carpets, wall mounts, accessory walls, display areas and ensuring the premises are free from debris.

* Will not take money out of the store locations for any reason at any time (will not send any money/wire transfers, example Western Union or MoneyGram with store monies or assets); * Inventory Management, ensuring all inventory is secured and accounted for; * Ensuring proper time management; checking and validating clock in/outs on a daily basis (will submit time card fixes/regularizations, submit leave requests for all leaves, late arrivals, depart early outside of scheduled shift); * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, peak retail selling periods and holidays; * Able to meet the requirement to work full hours on (at minimum) two weekends of a month; * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, peak retail selling periods and holidays; * Able to meet the requirement to work full hours on (at minimum) two weekends of a month; * Able to travel and work in other locations of Spacetel LLC; * Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 10-25 pounds; * Ability to complete all paperwork completely, accurately and in a timely manner; * Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, point of sale system, copier and fax; * Complete all aspects of opening and closing the store in accordance with written and oral procedures; * Regular physical activity will be required; setting up promotional material, changing out displays, etc.
