Heavy Equipment Mechanic

JOB Under the direction of a District Road Superintendent, perform skilled work in the repair, maintenance, overhaul and rebuilding of a wide variety of heavy diesel and gasoline vehicles and construction equipment.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Any combination equivalent to: three years journey-level experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment; including experience working on diesel engines.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Class A driver's license or obtain license within six months of hire.
